Establishment Palms Rest has been established with a view of providing services to people needing a comfortable accommodation in a centralized area in Gauteng. The guest house was established in 2001 by the owners of the property, Marks and Virginia Khumalo. The owners reside on the property, managing and maintaining the business. Palms Rest Guest House is a member of the Midrand Bed and Breakfast Association (MBABA) and has been evaluated by the Regional Associations, Gauteng Combined Accommodation Association (GCAA) and National Accommodation Association of South Africa (NAASA) for the past three years and has grown from these relationships. We are also affiliated with the Federation Hospitality Association of South Africa (FEDHASA). Palms Rest is currently a Two Star Guest House. Expanding our exposure via the Internet and great marketing will allow us to maintain a higher than average occupancy rate and above average profits. |
